Zarushagar Subsector N: Imperial era data as of 001-1117. New Era data as of 001-1200. This subsector was not an Imperial War zone, hence only 2 UWP entries. It was isolated until Virus was released.

The Dew Claw subsector population in 1119 was 1.6 billion. New Era census
population is 18.7 million, a decrease of 99%. Population increases have
occurred at Ayil (0934) and Lysandra (1239). The highest population is at
Lysandra (10 million). The best starport (A-class) is at Ayil and Klymo (1140),
which has the best tech level (12).
Though not all the worlds in this subsector were 3rd Imperium client states,
they maintained trade ties with Colony 4 in Havre
subsector and thus avoided the "Great Recession" of 1124-1130.
Koringap (0937) is a boneyard salvage world. It is managed by
Klymo, Ayil, and Colony 4 of the Zarushagar Rift
Confederation. Anti-Virus laws are harsh, served up by capital punishment.
Blaunchard (1038) and Fistor (1340) have been re-inhabited by
colonists from Lysandra. Interstellar traffic is strictly maintained
with verbal pass codes, in non-viral radio transmission channels and secured
vectors of approach.
Planets of Note:
Ayil (0934): Colonized before the Treaty of Ftalhar by Aslan
ihatei, they became a fait d'accompli world in the early 3rd Imperium.
Due to their isolation, they became more and more reliant on the Imperium.
The Collapse was particulary mild here in Aslan computer systems. Only Imperial
systems failed and these were quickly isolated and replaced with the ancient,
but well maintained, tech level B systems that got the original Aslani settlers
here.

The Naval base was built in the 1180's. The government is clan-based, with one
"Highlord".

Klymo (1140): Several of Klymo's orbital cities came crashing down in
1140, not as a result of Viral infection, but due to negligence. Rather than
fund efforts to maintain Klymo's infrastructure, the tax money was spent as
corporate handouts in an effort to get them through the economic downturn of
Hard Times and the Collapse. When one city came down, it was considered a fluke.
Two was coincidence. It took the third crash before the people rebelled. The
former Council of Klymo was replaced by a representative democracy in a coup in
1145 after it was discovered that the Council knew the risks but gambled anyway.

Lysandra (1239): Ruled by a civil service bureaucracy. This world, like
Colony-4, is one of the chief movers and shakers in this subsector and
the ZRC. Workers from her corporations have invested heavily in the formerly low
populated worlds of Fistor (fell from 500 million to 40,000 survivors)
and Blaunchard (10 survivors from 400,000).

Weinberg (1535): A vampire state with a medium sized B-class starport.
The several thousand robots that run the planet ignore the small primitive human
population, and service the five Vampire fleets in system (one at each gas
giant and one at the asteroid belt closest to the planet) to varying degrees.
Port AI: Parent Strain [Ruthless/generous], Ariel (has a Sunagas-15 Valet
bot it uses for mobility purposes and 4 Armutac-13 Admin 'bots as underlings
(parent-strains [Ruthless/Just];
ARMED FORCES:
The rest are wheeled TL-10 janitorial bots (arms). Ariel is well acquainted
with the resident fleets, and is always on the lookout for new workers (robots)
and spare electronic parts. She and Columbus (see belt fleet) are the mated
pair here. While Ariel has only one battery of TL-10 PADMs, she has over the
past 70 years assembled a modest stockpile of spare missiles, and nuclear bomb
laden 10 dtn cargo pods for her GP, LIC Orbital cargo Mass driver (muzzle
velocity 5000 km/second).
Belt Fleet: 5 starships and 10 spacecraft
Columbus is the main AI and the mining mother ship, who brings new
alloys and radioactives to Ariel planetside.
SGG 1 Fleet: 4 Starships of mixed strains
Lead by the ED "Wellington" who has the aide of the CL's AI, Cortes and
the DE AI's Attila in keeping the shifty DD AI Iosef Stalin in
line. This fleet as a whole distrusts Belisarius (GG2 Fleet's AI-Puppeteer)
heartily, and has begun secretly negotiating for X-ray pumped missiles from
Ariel.
LGG2 Fleet: 11 starships and 51 subcraft
"General Belasarius" as it calls itself, has its own B-class port on one of the
gas giant's 5 moons (Moonbase III UWP: B590000-D). It has been defeated twice
trying to cross the Dew Claw reft by naval forces of the ZRC and had two of
three secret deep modular space refueling bases destroyed by the Confederate
navy (grids 1234 & 1236). It is obsessed with defeating and absorbing them,
and has built a fourth one it plans on dropping into grid 1440 from its
surviving base at grid 1538. General Belisarius once lead the coalition of
fleets here but his leadership skills cost the survivors greatly, and they no
longer wish to co-operate with him. His attempt at seizing Ariel and the loss
of his spinal mount on the CA has earned him her enmity and a "shoot on sight"
order of any of his ships.
SGG3 Fleet: 2 starships & 4 subcraft.
DD-AI Golda Meir and the Brigham Young Survey ship are the brains
of this outfit, having travelled rimwards from Gushemege and
Dagudashag sectors in search of safer waters from Core's puppeteers and
RQS Vampire Hunter-Killer ships.
LGG4 Fleet: Mixed strains - 6 starships, no subcraft.
