Angknul Subsector: The Angknul Subsector has an estimated population in 1202 of approximately 1.61 billion, a decline of 78.7% from its Pre-Collapse population. Ksaghkhaers has the highest population (800 million). Ollduezoul has the highest tech level rating (9). In 1120, the Angknul Subsector had an estimated population of approximately 7.57 billion. Its highest population was 4 billion at Angknul, which shared the highest tech level (D) honors with Doukgzaeroun.

Subsector Notes:
Rebellion Era:
The Angknul subsector was a backwater for most of the years spanning 1000-1100. When the Kforuzeng grew in power, this subsector became an ideal place for corsairs to set up bases. The two states in this subsector, People of Wanz and Windhorn Pact of Two, made deals allowing corsair groups to operate within their borders. They often work together as well.

TNE:
Compared with other subsectors in the area, Angknul subsector did not suffer as heavily from Virus as others. 8 systems still have functional starports. 3 more would be functional if they receive the proper technological support to bring them back online.

Ksaghkhaers (1726), Ksutsonoe (1727), Faekourz (2026) and Ollduezoul (2128) weathered Virus fairly well and have recovered most, if not all, of their losses. Their ability to maintain functional starports has enabled them to continue instellar commerce and provide technological support for one another.

Before the Collapse, Doukgzaeroun (2224) was a technologically advanced (TL-D) Vargr world. The Chirper population was a scientific curiousity but was mostly ignored. After being knocked down by Virus, an oppressive mystic dictatorship arose. All relic technology is confiscated by the techno-theocracy. Those found hiding technology are punished. Although the Chirpers are still typically ignored, there have been times during food shortages where they have been preyed upon by hungry Vargr.

The inhabitants of Ughsangvul (2330) live up at the north pole, where a small ice cap provides their water requirements. There is a debate among the remaining 47 inhabitants as to whether or not they should continue to remain here or depart for "greener pastures."

Angknul (2421) was the capital of the coreward portion of the Windhorn Pact of Two. Over 4 billion people have died from the initial Virus attack and subsequent fighting with infected machinery. The Vargr populace fought with zeal and eventually succeeded in destroying all Vampire machinery. The rebuilding process has been slow, hence the low tech level.
