Dhozo Subsector: The Dhozo Subsector has an
estimated population in 1202 of approximately 2.15 billion, a decline of
97.9% from its Pre-Collapse population. Asekong has the highest population
(900 million). Dhozo and Angvurdh share the highest tech level rating (8). The
Kfuekhue Subsector (its former name) had an estimated population in 1120 of
approximately 104 billion. Its highest population was 80 billion at Kfuekhue,
which shared the highest tech level (13) with Kazlluek and Khue.
Subsector Notes:
Being on good terms with the Imperium, and later the Regency, the Thoengling
Empire received ample warning of the coming of Virus. At first, Virus'
forays into this subsector were thwarted. In 1146, a Vampire fleet overran their
defenses and began to infect their ships and bomb their worlds. This Vampire
fleet continued to advance through this subsector and into Gvurrdon. The
Thoengling Empire suffered greatly and eventually forced to retreat. In 1202
the Thoengling Empire occupies a few worlds in
Gvurrdon sector.
The charisma of the leaders of Oezuerz (227) was so great that the
people of the world didn't mind having their lives strictly controlled by the
government. When Virus struck, that charisma instantly evaporated. In the
aftermath of their execution, several states began to fight for control of
their world. The starport lies within the territory of the largest and most
technologically intact nation.
In the last few years, Dhozo (422) has sent out scouts to contact its
neighbors and survey worlds for salvage. They have been actively trading with
Akseknoek (426), Angvurdh (429), and Oezuerz when it's calm. It
is not known if they will attempt to re-establish contact with the remnants
of the Thoengling Empire or start a new interstellar state of their own.
Kfuekhue (629) was once the subsector capital for the Thoengling
Empire. Virus stripped it of that title in 1146. Orbital cities crashed to
the ground. Machines turned on their masters. The dust hasn't settled yet.
The carnage was so great that the world is still tainted in 1202. Nearly 80
billion Vargr have died. The survivors still have to deal with the occasional
roving Vampire robot pack, though even these are running out of functional
power supplies to scavenge.
