Aekhsrrung Subsector: The Aekhsrrung Subsector has an estimated population in 1202 of approximately 6.3 billion, a decrease of 85% from its Pre-Collapse population. Lluegz has the highest population (5 billion) while Aennuekae and Otue the highest tech level rating (8). The Aekhsrrung Subsector had an estimated population in 1120 of approximately 41 billion. Its highest population was 20 billion at Aeksrrung and Lluegz. Kleg had the highest tech level (14).

Subsector Notes:
Rebellion Era: The Aekhsrrung Subsector was gradually absorbed by the Empire of Varroerth from 1040 - 1090. Since its absorption, it has served as a base of operations for corsairs raiding spinward and rimward.

TNE:
With the crash of desalinization plants, vapor condensers, and other water reclamation equipment, the inhabitants of Gnaktheksough (2501) faced drastic water shortages. Many people died from dehydration and from battles fought over drinkable water. As time wore on, the survivors migrated underground. Their subterranean existence cuts down on their water loss and it is here that fresh water is found. Outdoor work is conducted at night and during early morning hours.

The people of Dhordoer (2504) trade their agricultural products with their neighbors for relic equipment and spare parts. When they can't trade, they rummage through the ruins of dead worlds. The starport is barely operational.

The rebuilding process on Aekhsrrung (2707) is in full swing. After orbital cities came crashing down and once floating cities sank, the survivors began to construct artificial islands from the debris. Coral organisms gave them the idea. As morbid as it sounds, the abundance of calcium (from 20 billion dead) in the ocean gave the coral organisms plenty of building material. After several years of phenomenal growth, several of these new coral reefs were cemented over by the Vargr to become part of the foundations for the artificial islands. Determined to return to dominance, the largest state, Gveghensrrung, has imposed strict laws upon its citizens claiming that they are necessary in order to return to their former glory.
