"Titan Rain" from China
Our "allies" in China are keeping up their end of our "friendship"
(Washington Technology link gone. In essence, they're spying on us).
I thought that the Chinese were a patient people, that they take the long view.
In the past, they absorbed and assimilated their conquerors. It would seem that
their dalliance in capitalism has infected them with Yankee impatience. They can
no longer wait to learn our mighty technological secrets through commerce but
must resort to hacking our networks.
But maybe it's not them. Maybe some deviant mastermind is setting up China to
look like the bad guys. If the U.S. government actually responded in some way,
shape, or form, I might give that idea credence. But since all we do is
sternly warn them (Link gone) about their snail's pace of letting the
yuan float against the dollar, I don't give that idea much credit.
